Our Mission
Friends of Huffman Ballpark is organized exclusively for charitable and community purposes to support, maintain, and enhance the Huffman Ballpark through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community engagement.

The Friends of Huffman Ballpark is a newly established nonprofit entity committed to sustaining and enhancing one of Birmingham’s most beloved community assets. This initiative was created to fill a critical gap—ensuring that Huffman Ballpark remains a safe, vibrant, and well-maintained space for generations to come, while supporting expanded engagement with residents, businesses, and local leaders.
Partners in Play: Working Together for the Ballpark
The Friends of Huffman Ballpark and the Huffman Recreation Board work hand-in-hand to support and elevate the park. While the Recreation Board manages daily operations, Friends of Huffman leads fundraising and outreach—forming a powerful partnership committed to the park’s long-term success.
